1. Passport of member applicant must not be less than six (6) months valid from date of filing of application; 2. Applicant must be in Taiwan at the time application for visa is filed; 3. Duly accomplished group tour visa application form (provided by MECO) in triplicate; 4. Copy of business license of Taiwan travel agency (original must be presented for first time applicants for authentication purposes); 5. Copy of business license of Philippine travel agency (original must be presented for first time applicants for authentication purposes); 6. Accreditation Certificate from the Department of Tourism in the Philippines certifying to the fact that the Philippine travel agency is a duly accredited tour operator in the Philippines (original must be presented for first time applicants for authentication purposes); 7. Original Letter of Guarantee from the Taiwan travel agency; 8. Copy of Contract between Taiwan and Philippine travel agencies stating among others that the Philippine travel agency will arrange tour groups in Taiwan (original must be presented for first time applicants for authentication purposes) and that liability arising there from shall be for the account of the concerned agency; 9. Business License of the Philippine Agent for the current year from the concerned local government unit of the Philippines; 10. Itinerary of trip; 11. For applicants traveling with minor children (below 15 years old) to submit the original of the Household Registration (for R.O.C. nationals) or Birth Certificate of minor and other documents that may be required 12. For applicants below 15 years old not traveling with either parent or legal guardian (duly appointed by the court) for either parent or legal guardian to execute an “Affidavit of Consent and Request” duly notarized at MECO in compliance with the Waiver of Exclusion Ground (W.E.G.) under Sec. 29(a)(12) of the Philippine Immigration Act. Personal appearance of the parent executing the Affidavit is required at MECO. Copy each of the data page of the passports of the minor, accompanying adult (at least 18 years of age) and the parent or legal guardian executing the Affidavit (Taiwan ID or ARC may take the place of passport of parent or legal guardian) must be attached to the Affidavit. Original of the Household Registration must likewise be presented by the parent/legal guardian executing the Affidavit. Upon entry in Philippines, the applicant - minor is required to pay (BI – Port of Entry) the amount of P3,130.00 (present rate) per applicant-minor. 13. A male applicant who has not complied with the requirement of the Taiwan government to render military service or has not been exempted from doing so and such fact has been annotated at the back of his passport, a Permit to Travel from the concerned agencies of Taiwan must be presented to MECO before application can be entertained. 14. Payment of Visa Processing Fee – NT$960.00 per group member 15. Payment of Expedite Fee (if applicable) – NT$100.00 per group member 16. Payment of Notarization Fee (if applicable) – NT$800.00 per document Validity of Visa and Duration of Stay The group visa as issued is valid for three (3) months from date of issuance and the maximum duration of stay from date of entry is 59 days. MECO in the exercise of its discretion may shorten the validity of the visa issued as well as the duration of stay. MECO does not have the authority to issue visas with validity more than that allowed by the DFA/BI and the duration of stay more than the fifty (59) days allowed by the same. Nationals of countries requiring visa to the Philippines and the duration of stay allowed is only 21 days must be in a separate group visa application. Schedule of Release of Visas If you submit your application form with complete requirements on or before 11.30 a.m., your visa will be ready for release after 5.00 p.m. of the same day. If you submit your visa application form with complete requirements after 1.00 p.m., your visa will be released after 9.30 a.m. of the next working day.
