The MECO extends assistance to Filipinos who may be arrested and imprisoned in Taiwan.  The Assistance to Nationals Section   is open 24 hours a day, seven day a week. The MECO will ensure that your rights are protected and all effort will be exerted to ensure that all assistance of the Philippine government will be extended to you.
