The Taiwanese authorities impose taxes on your income and earnings arising from employment in Taiwan.  In case you are entitled to tax refunds from the Taiwan government, the MECO Manila office is willing to assist you in processing these requests for refunds.  This service is for Filipinos who have returned to the Philippines only.  The MECO does not process refunds for Filipinos currently residing or working in Taiwan.

Procedure in Applying for Request for Tax Refund  

1.    Fill out Request for Tax Refund form

2.    Once there is a received report from the Labor Representative and Welfare Officer, the Administrative Assistant will immediately inform the OFW.
