Multiple-Entry Individual Visa

 

(Only for R.O.C. Passport holder)

 

1.    Duly accomplished Visa Application Form;

 

2.    Applicant must be in Taiwan at the time application for visa is filed;

 

3.    Two (2) pieces recent photo - size (4.5cm x 3.5cm) taken in the last six months from time application is filed;

 

4.    Copy of Incorporation Documents of both the Taiwan/Philippine Company or any document to show/prove that Taiwan company/shareholder(s) are also shareholder(s) of the Philippine Company - (first time applicant only);

 

5.    Copy of valid company (Philippine company) business license for  the current year issued by the local government unit where business is operating – once a year;

 

6.    Copy of company business registration – Taiwan and Philippine company  - (first time applicant only);

 

7.    Copy of applicant’s R.O.C. ID or Alien Resident Certificate (ARC);

 

8.    Duly accomplished visa application form with ID photo (1”x1”) taken at most six months from time application is filed;

 

9.    Corporate profile – Taiwan company (first time applicant only);

 

10.    Male applicants who were not able to comply with the requirement of the Taiwan government to render military service or has not been exempted from doing so and such fact has been annotated at the back of their passport a Permit to Travel from the concerned agencies of Taiwan must be presented to MECO before application can be entertained;

 

11.              Letter of request from the Taiwan or Philippine company on its company letterhead addressed to:

 

Resident Representative and Managing Director
Manila Economic and Cultural Office
#176, 11F, Chang Chun Rd.,
Taipei, Taiwan

 

Stating the reason(s) why applicant requires the issuance of a multiple entry visa, his/her position in the company as well as his/ her duties and responsibilities;

 

12.    If applicant is the owner or officer of a manpower agency or a travel agency, favorable endorsement from the MECO-Labor/MECO-Tourism Office must be secured;

 

13.    If applicant is duly endorsed by PAGCOR he/she is required to submit only his/her duly accomplished application form, copy of R.O.C ID, photograph, payment of visa fee and payment of expedite fee if applicable.  The reason for this is, these applicants are pre-screened by PAGCOR prior to their endorsement and therefore the burden and responsibility rests solely on PAGCOR. This is pursuant to MECO’s agreement with PAGCOR;

 

14.     Only the following may be granted Multiple Entry Visas Valid for Twelve Months: 

 

a.    SENIOR OFFICERS of Taiwan companies – (a) with investments in the Philippines as sole owner or shareholder or partner of a duly organized and registered company/business in the Philippines (b) Philippine company is operating/doing business in the Philippines at the time application is submitted

 

b.    SENIOR OFFICERS of airline companies i.e. Philippine Airlines, China Airlines, Eva Airways, Mandarin Air and Far Eastern Airways

 

15.    Interview by the Resident Representative or his authorized representative shall be required for first time applicant and maybe required for existing holders at the discretion of the Resident Representative or his authorized representative.

 

16.    Payment of Visa Processing Fee: 

 

3 months valid – NT$3,000.00

6 months valid – NT$5,500.00

12 months valid – NT$7,500.00

 

17.    Payment of Expedite Fee (if applicable) – NT$500.00

 

 

Validity of Visa and Duration of Stay

 

Validity of visa issued is either 3 months, 6 months or one year.

 

          Maximum duration of stay for every entry is 59 days from the date of arrival.

 

 

Schedule of Release of Visas

 

If you submit your application form with complete requirements on or before 11.30 a.m., your visa will be ready for release after 5.00 p.m. of the same day.

 

If you submit your visa application form with complete requirements after 1.00 p.m., your visa will be released after 9.30 a.m. of the next working day.
