Requirements for Student Visa Procedure in Studying in the Philippines a. Submit requirements of the school where you intend to study in the Philippines. b. Submit requirements to get a Student Visa or a Special Study Permit. 1. Passport valid for six (6) months from date of intended travel to the Philippines. 2. Applicant must be in Taiwan at the time visa application is filed. 3. Duly accomplished visa application form. 4. Two (2) pieces recent photo - size (4.5cm x 3.5cm) taken in the last six months from time application is filed. 5. Medical Examination Report – including AIDS test and Chest X-Ray taken in the last six months from date visa application is filed. 6. Police Record Certificate – date of issuance must not be more than six months from date visa application is filed. 7. Sworn statement executed by applicant stating his/her contact numbers in the Philippines, the names and contact number of persons in the Philippines known to him/her and he/she had/has dealings with and that he/she guarantees that he/she does not belong to any organization/association engage in terrorist activities or organized for the purpose of overthrowing the government of the Philippines. 8. Copy of R.O.C. ID, if applicable. 9. 1 Photo ID size (1”x1”) taken in the last six months from date visa application is filed. 10. Payment of Student Visa Processing Fee. 11. Payment of Expedite Fee (if applicable) – NT$500.00 c. Check with MECO-Taipei on the status of DFA Visa Authorization – about a month after completion of school requirement. d. When informed that DFA Visa Authorization already received by MECO-Taipei to submit the following documents. Schedule of Release of Visas If you submit your application form with complete requirements on or before 11.30 a.m., your visa will be ready for release after 5.00 p.m. of the same day. If you submit your visa application form with complete requirements after 1.00 p.m., your visa will be released after 9.30 a.m. of the next working day.
